Together with Sander Bolk a.k.a. husc and Sabine Bolk, I will take part in two Mayakovsky performances on 27 April and 9 May.
The first will be held during Proeflokaal #80 and the second as part of the opening of “2 sides of a story”, a project taking place during the Graphic Design Festival Breda.

For over a decade Sander and I have been doing projects to find new ways to combine poetry and music. Our first performance in October 2000 explored the raw pure richness of beat-poetry in “To BE-AT”. After that, in 2005, we decided to pay hommage to Jacob Jan Slauerhoff in a more classical “Avondvaart”. With “Mayakovsky” we will try to decode Russian- and Cubo-Futurism, processing our every breath, breathing new life into our five year interval projects.
